Description

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Technician in Stratford, CT for a one-year contract role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.

The Technician will support System Integration Laboratory test facilities by fabricating, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic equipment. This role requires experience building aircraft wiring harnesses, working from engineering documentation, and supporting laboratory test equipment with minimal supervision.

Required Skills

  • Experience constructing aircraft wiring harnesses from electrical schematics.

  • Experience routing wiring harnesses through large electronic equipment racks.

  • Experience terminating wiring harnesses to rear disconnect panels.

  • Ability to work from engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and electronic diagrams with limited supervision.

  • Experience fabricating wire harnesses, test boxes, and laboratory test equipment.

  • Strong electrical and electronic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with electrical and electronic fabrication.

  • Previous experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.

  • Mechanical aptitude and general fabrication skills.

  • Experience fabricating and terminating military wiring harnesses and connectors.

  • Ability to install, diagnose, repair, and test electrical and electronic equipment.

What You'll Do

  • Fabricate aircraft wiring harnesses from engineering drawings and electrical schematics.

  • Route and install wiring harnesses within electronic equipment racks.

  • Terminate wiring to rear disconnect panels and military-grade connectors.

  • Assemble and mount electrical and mechanical components into laboratory racks.

  • Fabricate test boxes and associated laboratory test equipment.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems.

  • Repair and modify laboratory equipment and test installations.

  • Support System Integration Laboratory testing activities.

  • Work independently with minimal guidance while maintaining quality workmanship.
