Schedule: 2nd Shift | 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM EST
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to support industrial electrical and mechanical operations at a well-established manufacturing facility. This role is hands-on and requires strong troubleshooting skills, familiarity with PLCs, and the ability to keep production equipment running at peak performance.
What You'll Do:
- Diagnose, repair, and replace defective mechanical and electrical components.
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment adjustments to meet production standards.
- Work with PLC logic, ladder logic, schematics, and industrial motor controls.
- Conduct electrical testing and troubleshoot printed circuit assembly boards.
- Read and interpret complex diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and testing procedures.
- Support CNC and machining equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and report issues to supervision.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Journeyman-level skill or 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance (electrical/mechanical).
- Strong experience with ladder logic, schematics, and motor controls.
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills with both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Must reside within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
Preferred Qualifications:
- CNC maintenance or machining equipment background.
- Hydraulics experience.
- Two-year degree in electronics (or equivalent military electronics background).
