Role: Techno-functional Product Manager / BSA with deep SAP Finance and Treasury expertise
Duration: 6-12+ Months Contract

This is NOT: A pure Business PM, A general SAP Finance PM or A project manager with light Treasury exposure
~This IS a hands-on, techno-functional SAP Treasury Product Manager / BSA.
Core Skill Mix
• 70% SAP Treasury (Functional, Hands-On)
• 30% SAP Finance (FI)

~SAP Treasury (TRM)
~Cash Management
~In-House Banking
~Treasury Payments
~Securities / FX / Risk Exposure

Cash flow hedging
Balance sheet hedging
• Configuration-level understanding (not just oversight)
________________________________________
Treasury does not operate in isolation.

Bloomberg (market data)
Trading platforms (e.g., 360T, FXall)
Other third-party Treasury systems
~Understanding end-to-end data flow across systems is essential.

Even though this is a Product Manager / BSA role, the candidate must:
• Understand Treasury deeply enough to challenge business requirements
• Ask the right functional questions
• Design solutions aligned with SAP Treasury capabilities
• Translate business needs into workable SAP + integration solutions
Project management alone will not work in this role.
Absolute must-haves for this role:
1. SAP FI with deep Treasury expertise
2. SAP Treasury implementations (TMS, FSCM, cash management, FX, forecasting)
3. Hands-on Product Manager / BSA experience (techno-functional)
4. End-to-end implementation ownership
5. Strong accounting & Treasury process knowledge
6. Ability to translate business requirements into technical stories
Strongly preferred but not strict blocker:
SaaS / subscription business exposure – preferred for faster ramp-up
Meeting notes with the manager -
· Seeking a senior, hands-on techno-functional Product Manager / BSA with deep SAP Finance and Treasury expertise, not a pure business PM and not a developer.
· The ideal candidate has strong SAP FI foundations and extensive Treasury implementation experience, especially in advanced Treasury transformations such as TMS (Treasury Management Systems) and FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management), along with cash management, forecasting, FX risk management, and Treasury operations.
· This role requires someone who has led or significantly owned SAP Treasury implementations end-to-end and understands how Treasury integrates with FI, AP/AR, MM, accounting, and downstream processes.
· The manager is explicitly looking for a true SME who can operate independently in a metrics-driven environment and hit the ground running with minimal guidance.
· The candidate must be hands-on - comfortable working daily in the system, writing and grooming user stories, translating business needs into technical requirements, collaborating closely with engineering teams, and participating fully in Agile delivery. This is not a strategy-only or oversight role.
Experience in a subscription or SaaS business model is strongly preferred, as it reduces ramp-up time and ensures faster understanding of revenue, accounting, and Treasury flows.
The candidate should be San Jose–based (onsite), experienced working with senior finance stakeholders (Treasury, Accounting, Tax, AP/AR), and bring a driver mentality rather than requiring step-by-step direction.
This role requires a senior, hands-on techno-functional SAP Treasury Product Manager / BSA who is a true Treasury SME first, not a business-only PM or project manager. The ideal candidate has deep, day-to-day experience in SAP Treasury (TRM) with strong SAP FI foundations, and has led end-to-end Treasury implementations covering cash management, in-house banking, FX, hedging, forecasting, TMS, and FSCM. The person must work hands-on in the system, translate business needs into technical/user stories, collaborate closely with engineering in an Agile setup, and independently drive delivery in a metrics-driven environment. Strong understanding of Treasury integrations (e.g., Bloomberg, trading platforms, third-party systems) and end-to-end finance data flows is critical. Onsite San Jose and experience engaging senior finance stakeholders are required, with SaaS/subscription exposure preferred for faster ramp-up.
