Job Description Title: Technologist Echocardiographer Registered Job Summary Performs imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology practice standards to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Population Served Job Responsibilities • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Radiologic principles and utilizes the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures and treatments as demonstrated by procedure and treatment results. • Develops appropriate procedure and treatment plan. • Implements procedure and treatment plan utilizing established BMG protocol and guidelines. • Completes documentation as required to comply with BMG policies and procedures. • Maintains equipment, procedure, and treatment rooms and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and staff. • Participates in BMG and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure that patient care is consistent with established standards. • Completes assigned goals.

Specifications Experience Description Minimum Required Preferred Desired NA Recent experience as a Sonographer. Education Description Minimum Required Preferred Desired Registered by ARDMS and/or CCI or new graduate who is waiting to take registry. Proof of registry and certification required by primary source must be available within 12 months of graduation. BLS certification required within 14 days of hire date.

Training Description Minimum Required Preferred Desired Special Skills Description Minimum Required Preferred Desired Basic computer literacy skills.

Licensure Description Minimum Required Preferred Desired ARDMSCCI or new graduate who will obtain required registry and certification with 12 months of hire.
