Technologist (SP)

Willis Knighton Radiology is seeking a per-diem x-ray technologist for our Interventional Radiology Department.

The job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Operating radiographic and PACS equipment to produce quality images following radiation safety guidelines
• Communicating effectively with patients and caregivers
• Assisting radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures and proper documentation

Duties for this position include but are not limited to:

• Circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures
• Patient teaching
• Assisting with patient care within the scope of practice
• Inventory management
• Schedule coordination

Educationally, the applicant must be a Registered X-ray Technologist with ARRT and hold a license in Radiologic Technology by the LSRTBE.
