Willis Knighton Radiology is seeking a full-time x-ray technologist for our Interventional Radiology Department.
The job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Operating radiographic and PACS equipment to produce quality images following radiation safety guidelines
- Communicating effectively with patients and caregivers
- Assisting radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures and proper documentation
Duties for this position include but are not limited to:
- Circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures
- Patient teaching
- Assisting with patient care within the scope of practice
- Inventory management
- Schedule coordination
Educationally, the applicant must be a Registered X-ray Technologist with ARRT and hold a license in Radiologic Technology by the LSRTBE.
