Position Summary
FlexTG is seeking a proactive and client-focused Technical Alignment Manager to ensure customer environments are aligned with company best practices, industry standards, and long-term IT strategies.
In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor—assessing client infrastructures, identifying risks, and recommending improvements while partnering closely with vCIOs, Account Managers, Service Desk teams, and Project Engineers. Your work will help drive high service quality, strengthen client relationships, and support overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of assigned client infrastructures
- Conduct regular technical alignment reviews to ensure compliance with IT best practices, industry standards, and company frameworks
- Partner with vCIOs, Account Managers, and project teams to develop and maintain client IT roadmaps
- Perform proactive audits of client environments using established internal standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of client systems, configurations, and environments
- Identify risks such as outdated systems, unsupported hardware, and security vulnerabilities
- Serve as a technical point of contact for client meetings and business reviews, translating technical concepts into business-friendly language
- Assist in scoping projects, upgrades, and solution recommendations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively addressing questions and concerns
- Collaborate across Managed IT teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
- Travel to client sites as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in the IT industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of Help Desk or technical support experience
- Industry certifications such as A+, Network+, or Security+
- Experience working within managed IT services environments
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and security best practices
