Description: Project Manager Business Analyst (Data & Reporting)

Master Data Management (MDM) Contract

Role Name: Project Manager & Business Analyst MDM

Location: Austin, TX OR Cupertino, CA (Client Location)

Experience: 5+ Years

Role Summary: We are seeking a hybrid Project Manager and Business Analyst to lead and execute Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing end-to-end delivery while performing detailed data analysis to support future-state data capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project management for MDM initiatives using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Perform current-state vs future-state gap analysis and assess business impacts.

Drive stakeholder alignment through workshops, governance forums, and executive status reporting.

Analyze data availability, structure, and quality; translate findings into clear requirements.

Define requirements for data integration, migration, transformation, and mapping.

Manage and participate in data validation, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Key Skill Set (Filtering Criteria)

Project Management (Agile / Scrum, Jira, Confluence).

Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance.

Business & Impact Analysis, requirements gathering.

Strong SQL and Python for data analysis.

Data profiling, data quality assessment, and KPI definition.

Experience with analytics platforms (Snowflake, Hadoop, or Spark).

BI tools such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or equivalent.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra or DataHub.

Project management certifications (PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP).

Industry certifications in data management or analytics.

Familiarity with D&B data architecture and enrichment.

Contractor Expectations

Own delivery of MDM initiatives from planning through deployment.

Work independently while collaborating across global stakeholder groups.

Deliver on time and within budget in complex data programs.
