Technology Assistant (Summer 2026)

Central Berkshire Regional School District is seeking a summer (seasonal) assistant to assist the district''s IT department.

July 1, 2026 - August 21, 2026.

Tasks:

• Inventory and maintenance of the district''s IT resources including PCs, Chromebooks, iPads, and Projectors.
• Setup and inventory of new equipment including Chromebooks and Laptops in preparation for distribution for the next school year.
• Replacement/installation of district IP security cameras and related cabling.
• Replacement of classroom projectors.
• Other duties as assigned by the technology director

Qualifications:

• Basic experience with operating systems including Windows 10, Apple iOS, and Chrome OS.
• Basic experience with computer and network hardware.
• Ability to accurately record data for the purpose of inventorying new and existing equipment.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team and take direction from district IT staff.
• Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work cooperatively with all district staff.

REPORTS TO: Technology Director

SALARY: $18.54 per hour
