South Woods and H.B. Thompson Middle Schools

Available on August 25, 2026

The Syosset Central School District seeks a leave replacement Technology Education Teacher for South Woods and H.B. Thompson Middle Schools for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• Hold NYSED certification in Technology Education required

• Prior successful experience teaching technology education at the middle school level preferred

• Exceptional skills integrating computer science and engineering in the curriculum

• Expertise in differentiated instruction to support the success and growth of all students

• Possess innovative skills using instructional technology

• Exemplary organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills

• Ability to collaborate with a highly respected faculty and staff

Salary per Syosset Teachers Association contract
