The School District of Westfield is accepting applications for a full-time Tech-Ed teacher to work with students at Westfield Area High School. Westfield Area High School serves approximately 300 students and is located in south-central Wisconsin on Interstate 39. Westfield is approximately 40 miles south of Stevens Point, 30 miles north-east of Wisconsin Dells, and 20 miles north of Portage.
We are seeking a passionate educator who holds, or is willing to obtain, a valid Technology Education license. Classes taught include a variety of woods, metals, welding, and small engines. Teachers are encouraged to add classes to their course offerings that suit their interests, the interests of students, and the changing needs of the workforce.
Westfield Area High School is well-maintained and in the process of implementing an approximately $27 million dollar capital referendum with multiple projects enhancing our learning spaces. We are willing to discuss any specific needs you might have to help enhance your classroom environment and instruction to best support you and your future students.
Requirements/Qualifications: Must be certified or willing to become certified with an Technology Education Wisconsin DPI license. Must possess knowledge of current educational methodology and practices. Ideal candidates are energetic and highly skilled at developing positive relationships with colleagues & students. Coaching positions are available if interested.
