Position Technology & Engineering Teacher

Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver standards-aligned curriculum integrating engineering design automation systems, robotics programming, and advanced manufacturing concepts. Incorporate project-based learning, industry-relevant problem-solving, and real-world applications into daily instruction. Utilize modern instructional technologies, simulation platforms, and/or robotics systems to enhance student learning. Maintain program alignment with Indiana Department of Education CTE standards and pathway requirements. Collaborate with local business and industry partners to ensure the curriculum reflects current workforce needs and emerging technologies. Support development of dual credit certifications and/or work-based learning opportunities for students. Assist in equipment planning, lab organization, and safety compliance for manufacturing robotics and engineering labs. Guide students in career exploration related to engineering automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing fields. Work collaboratively with school counselors and administrators to support students. Maintain required program documentation, assessment data, and certification records. Participate in professional learning for emerging technologies and best practices. Foster a classroom culture emphasizing innovation, teamwork, and technical skill development. Support recruitment and promotion of engineering, robotics, and manufacturing programs within the school and community.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Technology Education 5-12 • Workplace Specialist Engineering 9-12 • Workplace Specialist Industrial Automation & Robotics CTE Trade & Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing 5-12 • and/or Workplace Specialist Advanced Manufacturing 9-12
