The District is looking for a skilled person to join our CTE team and work alongside our lead Technology and Engineering teacher to help develop and build an amazing tech ed experience for our students in grades 6-12. The successful candidate will also help develop feeder technology and engineering projects in the elementary grades. An area of focus that could complement our current Technology and Engineering Teacher's skill set is computer science.
If you answered yes to these questions we want you to apply for our Technology Education position for Nekoosa School District.
In 2020, residents of the Nekoosa School District showed their support for the tech ed program and the Nekoosa Schools by passing a referendum that allowed us to put $100,000 per year for 5 years into our technology education program. With this support from our community and grants from the state and private sector organizations the Nekoosa School District has been able to create an exciting technology and engineering program for students in middle and high school. We have state of the art equipment in our wood and metal shops and most impressive is our unique approach to 3D printing. Over the past three years we have implemented 3D printing prototype labs at both our middle school and high school. Each student works at a computer with a dedicated 3D printer allowing students to work in CAD and immediately bring their creations to life. If this sounds exciting to you, we encourage you to apply for this position!
