Are you ready to join a growing team? CTG is seeking a Technology Equipment Technician & Sales Rep I to support our client. This role combines hands-on technology support, equipment refurbishment, inventory management, and customer-facing sales responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and experience working with computer hardware and technology equipment. Location: Cheektowaga, NY Duration: 3 Months Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and refurbish technology equipment including laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, workstations, printers, scanners, and related peripherals. Process, track, and maintain inventory records for technology assets and repair activities. Manage ServiceNow tickets and equipment requests, ensuring timely fulfillment of new deployments and break/fix replacements. Evaluate and assess unused technology equipment for refurbishment and resale opportunities. Prepare, package, and ship customer orders while maintaining accurate inventory controls. Serve as a primary point of contact for customers purchasing refurbished technology equipment. Support retail sales activities and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Maintain knowledge of technology products, applications, and vendor-supported solutions. Follow organizational risk management, security, compliance, and audit requirements. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and other technology support activities as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of higher education and/or related work experience. Strong customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of computer hardware, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Process-oriented mindset with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in a technology-related field. Technical certifications or specialized technology training. Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Understanding of technology asset management, refurbishment, or inventory processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday. Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds. Ability to perform tasks requiring close attention to detail and visual focus. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
