Complete job description - Experienced Telecom Network Engineer with strong expertise in SONET, SDH, DWDM, IP/MPLS, Ethernet, and transport network operations across multi-vendor environments. Skilled in network implementation, provisioning, regrooming, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and service delivery for customer and backbone transport networks. Proven ability to lead technical teams, support network deployments, optimize transport infrastructure, and drive process improvements.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

Strong expertise in SONET, SDH, DWDM, OTN, Ethernet, and transport network architectures
Experience in network implementation, provisioning, installation, migration, and regroom activities
Expertise in troubleshooting and fault isolation of DS0, DS1, DS3, OC-n, Ethernet (1G-100G) services
Skilled in Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 network technologies and service provisioning
Strong understanding of IP networking, TCP/IP, MPLS, VPN technologies, DNS, and routing protocols
Hands-on experience with BGP, eBGP, OSPF, MPLS, Static Routing, LAN, and WAN technologies
Experience working with Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel routers and Ciena, Cisco, Tellabs transport platforms
