At Vanguard, we put investors first - and that means putting innovation at the center of everything we do. As part of the Application Development track, you’ll design and build technology solutions that power our business and improve outcomes for our clients. From cloud-based platforms to full-stack development, your work will have a direct impact on the experience of millions of investors. Through real-world assignments, technical capstones, and collaborative team environments, you’ll develop the skills needed to solve complex problems and drive meaningful outcomes.

Are you a self-starter who is energized by solving problems and bringing people together around innovative ideas? Do you have an interest in web, mobile, and/or application development? Join a team where disruption is driven by purpose. You’ll develop the applications and tools that support our crew and millions of investors worldwide, while building your ability to collaborate, influence, and lead through hands-on experience. Through technical capstones, hackathons, and solution-oriented projects, you’ll strengthen both your technical expertise and leadership capabilities.

The Technology Leadership Program is a two-year rotational development experience designed for graduating students ready to begin their careers in technology. Participants complete three eight-month rotations across different IT teams, gaining exposure to diverse technologies, business areas, and challenges while building the skills needed to grow as future technology leaders at Vanguard.

  • Participate in technical capstones, hackathons, and innovation-focused initiatives
  • Build relationships with peers, mentors, and leaders across Vanguard
  • Meet regularly with your department manager and program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship
