We're looking for a motivated Technology & Operations Associate who wants hands-on experience across both IT and the operations of a growing technology company.

About the Role

This isn't a traditional help-desk position.

You'll work directly with Techtonic's Founder & CEO and assist with a variety of technical and operational responsibilities. Depending on the week, you may be organizing information in ConnectWise, preparing equipment for a deployment, documenting a client environment, researching a technical solution, assisting with Microsoft 365 or UniFi, or participating in an on-site client project.

The position will begin with approximately 5–10 hours per week, primarily remote, with additional hours potentially available for client projects and installations.

We're looking for someone who can grow with Techtonic. Responsibilities and access will increase as you demonstrate technical ability, reliability, good judgment, and an understanding of our processes.

What You'll Do

• Maintain internal and client documentation
• Create and update information, tickets, time entries, assets, and documentation in ConnectWise
• Assist with organizing and improving internal systems and processes
• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot Windows computers
• Prepare computers and networking equipment for client deployments
• Assist with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint-management tasks
• Assist with Ubiquiti UniFi networking projects
• Perform basic remote technical support
• Research technology products and potential solutions
• Assist with inventory and asset management
• Create and improve procedures, checklists, and documentation
• Assist with occasional on-site client installations and support
• Take on additional technical and operational responsibilities as experience develops

What We're Looking For

Candidates should be currently pursuing or have completed a college degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field, OR be pursuing or have earned a recognized IT certification.

Previous ConnectWise experience is strongly preferred, but not required.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• ConnectWise PSA/Manage or RMM
• Microsoft 365
• Entra ID and Intune
• Windows 10/11
• Ubiquiti UniFi
• Networking
• Cybersecurity
• Computer hardware and troubleshooting
• Remote support
• MSP environments

You don't need to know everything on this list. We're looking for someone with a solid foundation who is eager to learn.

Schedule & Remote Work

This is a part-time position averaging approximately 5–10 hours per week initially. Hours may vary depending on business needs and client projects.

Most routine work can be completed remotely, and scheduling can generally be flexible around school or another job.

Candidates must live within reasonable traveling distance of Long Island, NY and have reliable transportation for occasional client visits and installations.

Techtonic will provide a company-managed laptop for remote work.
