Description
Capstone Technology Partners is seeking a versatile intern to support the continued improvement of our internal business systems, employee communications, security processes, and operational workflows. This role is ideal for a student interested in technology, cybersecurity, cloud systems, process improvement, and technical documentation.
The intern will assist with maintaining internal digital tools, improving operational processes, supporting CMMC Level 2 readiness activities, researching emerging technologies, and helping the team document and track work across internal initiatives.

Assist with day-to-day internal operations initiatives, including process documentation, workflow improvement, internal communications support, and coordination across business and technical teams.
Support the maintenance and improvement of Capstone’s internal employee portal, including updating content, organizing information, improving usability, and assisting with employee communications.
Create and maintain internal documentation, standard operating procedures, quick-reference guides, technical briefs, and research summaries for stakeholders.
Research and prototype ways to improve internal workflows using automation, cloud tools, AI-enabled productivity tools, dashboards, or lightweight scripts.
Assist with internal reviews of access control policies, user access lists, and operational procedures to support alignment with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 requirements.
Use Asana to support task tracking, sprint coordination, status updates, milestone tracking, and cross-functional project visibility
Conduct research into relevant AI, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies that may improve internal operations, employee productivity, or secure information management.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Business Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Operations Management, or a related field.
Strong organizational, research, and written communication skills.
Interest in internal operations, business systems, cybersecurity, cloud computing, or process improvement.
Comfortable learning and using collaboration and project management tools such as Asana, Google Workspace or similar platforms.
Ability to document processes clearly and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, or RMF
Exposure to AI tools, knowledge management systems, or internal portal/content management platforms.
