Pay rate: $22/hr - $26/hr on W2 without benefits
Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift. $2.00 shift diff. 3rd: 11:30 pm - 8:00 am 2nd: 3:30 pm - midnight

Summary:

The Technology Quality Technician is responsible for conducting quality control activities, including inspections, tests and results reporting.

The Technology Quality Technician combines practical skills with understanding of the overall Quality Management System and the impact of nonconformances on the performance of equipment and systems.

Inspect documentation, parts, components, materials, subassemblies and equipment against stated specifications, using measurement systems with valid calibration and acceptable repeatability and reproducibility.

Comply with applicable inspection procedures and standard work.

Perform manufacturing and engineering tests in compliance with applicable procedures and standard work.

Assist in designing tests and fixtures and their set-up.

Ensure all inspection and test activities are conducted safely.

Participate in creation and review of Hazard Analysis and Risk Control for these activities.

When authorized, perform calibration of measurement systems.

Be familiar with inspection and test procedures, standard work and test plans, and provide input to continuously improve them.

Document the results of inspections and tests. Verify the stability of results over time, as feasible.

Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.

Required Experience & Skills

" Experience in High volume manufacturing or Quality Control / Quality Assurance (industry flexible).

" Ability to read and comprehend standards, procedures, and technical documentation.

" Strong math and basic measurement skills.

" Able to use computer systems for data entry and reporting.

" Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

" Must have a valid driver s license.

" Nice-to-have: forklift experience (certification provided onsite).

" Nice-to-have: familiarity with ISO-based Quality Management Systems.

" 2 -5 years' experience preferred.

Preferred Experience:

" Previous experience with Explosives or Electronics assembly is a plus

Key Functions:

" Wear PPE at all times and observe health, safety and environmental policies.

" Successfully complete required safety training (including but not limited to forklift, drugs and alcohol, electrical, emergency response, fire, first aid, health and hygiene, PPE, SIPP, risk reporting, IT security, hazardous materials, driving)

" Employee may be assigned additional responsibilities, in addition to or in lieu of those described above.

" Physical requirement to lift 40 pounds repeatedly throughout the day, Twisting, bending, leaning and stooping frequently during the workday.

" Being capable of operating a Forklift.

" Must be eligible for BATFE Level 4 clearance (employee possessor of explosives). - Clearance is required due to the handling of explosive materials and is processed through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) after onboarding. - Reference ATF Form 5400.28, which is used to determine the eligibility of an employee possessor to engage in certain explosives operations.
