Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technology Quality Technician to join our Quality team. In this role, you will perform inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure products meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
Job Description
- Perform quality inspections on raw materials, components, subassemblies, and finished products.
- Verify products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Conduct manufacturing and engineering tests following established procedures and standard work.
- Review and verify traceability and conformance documentation.
- Record inspection and test results accurately while maintaining quality records.
- Assist with document scanning and electronic file management.
- Maintain and update Quality Assurance and Quality Control files.
- Utilize company software and SAP to complete quality transactions (training provided).
- Assist with calibration activities when authorized.
- Ensure all inspection and testing activities are performed safely.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Manufacturing Quality System.
- Perform additional quality-related projects and assignments as needed.
Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to solve routine problems using sound judgment.
- One or more years of experience in clerical, inspection, or Quality Assurance/Quality Control environments is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in manufacturing quality or inspection.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Familiarity with: ISO 9001, ASME NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21
- Experience interpreting: Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), ASTM, ANSI, ASME, MIL SPEC, ISO/IEC standards, IEEE and AS specifications
- Experience with precision measuring instruments and CMM equipment.
- Prior experience in aerospace, military, nuclear, or highly regulated manufacturing industries.
Education
- Highschool diploma or GED
Pay Rate
- $22 - $24 per hour (Compensation will be offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
Additional Requirements
- Schedule: 1st Shift - 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM. Overtime available as needed, especially toward end of month production pushes
