Job Title: Technology Rollout Call Center Support
Location: Smithfield, RI (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $17/hr (W2)
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Work Type: Temporary / Contractor Role

- This role is 100% onsite in RI
- Schedule may fluctuate based on project needs (day/night shifts)
- Start date may be sooner than specified once cleared

Position Summary
This is a Technology Rollout Call Center role supporting multiple IT hardware implementation projects. The position involves providing first-level technical support to field technicians, vendors, and contractors who are installing or upgrading technology in retail stores.
This is not a traditional consumer call center role.
Key Responsibilities- Handle inbound calls from technicians, vendors, and contractors through a call queue
- Make outbound calls as required to support rollout projects
- Provide first-level troubleshooting support during technology implementations
- Update tracking applications and perform system validations
- Provide project updates via email, Excel, and internal tools when not handling calls
- Support multiple technology rollout projects simultaneously
- Ensure project implementation protocols are followed
- Adapt to projects occurring across evenings, nights, and multiple time zones
Schedule & Training- 8-hour shifts , with flexibility required for day/night project support
- Shift changes will be communicated in advance
- Paid training: 5 days per week, onsite
- Training hours will fall between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (may vary by candidate)
Required Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
- Willingness to adjust work hours based on project needs
Preferred Qualifications- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- IT hardware installation or technology implementation support experience (preferred, not required)
- Experience supporting field technicians or vendors
Education- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
