Akkodis is seeking a Technology Support Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Chicago, IL (Remote). The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments, with expertise in application support, incident management, troubleshooting, and enterprise system operations.

Rate Range: $52/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technology Support Engineer Job Responsibilities Include:

• Provide advanced technical support for Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents, service requests, and system-related issues.

• Create, implement, and manage Requests for Change (RFCs) while ensuring compliance with change management procedures and operational standards.

• Investigate recurring application and system issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop sustainable solutions that improve system performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with vendors, service management teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to support issue resolution and maintain system stability.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance knowledge base articles, troubleshooting documentation, support procedures, and operational guidelines to improve service delivery.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, enhance system performance, and improve the overall user experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• A minimum of seven to ten years of experience supporting Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications within enterprise business environments.

• Strong expertise in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne technology, including application support, troubleshooting, system maintenance, and operational support activities.

• Demonstrated experience managing incidents, problem resolution activities, root cause analysis, and enterprise application support processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of resolving complex technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne SOA Integration and related integration technologies within enterprise environments.

• Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, including incident management, problem management, change management, and knowledge management best practices.

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications and mission-critical business systems across multiple functional areas.

• Familiarity with enterprise application architectures, middleware technologies, integrations, and business process automation solutions.

Pay Details: $52.00 to $55.00 per hour
