What We're Looking For
Novant Health is seeking a Tele-psychiatrist to support a system-wide 24/7 telepsychiatry program serving emergency department and medical/surgical floor patients across the hospital system in North and South Carolina.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Fully remote position with no onsite clinical requirement and a 7-on/7-off schedule
- The role follows a standard 12-hour shift, with a set start time negotiable, and supports a therapy-first model that includes timely psychiatric consultation, evaluation, documentation, and collaboration with hospital teams and advanced practice providers in a virtual care model
Candidate Qualifications:- Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
- Must hold a NC and SC Medical License
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
- Current DEA license required
Responsibilities & Duties:- 7on/7off
- 12p-12a, flexible
- Advanced Practice Provider (APP) supervision is required
- Patient Population: all ages
- On-Call Duty
