Summary:
Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is currently recruiting for a Telecom System Admin to join our IT team! This position will work full-time 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, this is an IN-PERSON role.
As a Telecom System Admin, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable communication systems that support daily healthcare operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with experience administering enterprise telephony and VoIP systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. You'll thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy solving technical challenges, and be comfortable balancing end-user support with infrastructure administration, maintenance, and project work.

Job Duties
- Responds to to Tier 1 and Tier 2 level Helpdesk requests with telecommunications issues.
- Manages telephony issues and security related incidents surrounding PBX, specifically 3CX.
- Maintain hardware inventory for all BMC phones, headsets, and PBX equipment. Participates as a team-member for the configuration and installation of telecommunications hardware/software.
- Performs technical review and analysis recommending technology solutions and direction as needed.
- Assists with all automated faxing architecture and routing as well as support for printing and fax issues.
- Performs on-call rotations based on needs of the medical center.
- Works closely with other IT member on various projects throughout the environment.

Required Experience:
Skills and Abilities:
- Must possess advanced knowledge and understanding of Microsoft operating systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of Linux operating systems is a plus.
- A working knowledge of networking basics, virtualization, and SAN technologies is a plus.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate patience and flexibility when responding to end-user needs and requests.
Education:
- Bachelor degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
Experience:
- Must have 3+ years’ experience analyzing, planning and supporting systems in a multi-site, networked environment, preferred.
- IT experience in a healthcare setting, highly desired.
- Telecommunication experience desired.
Salary Range:
- Hiring range is $78,000 - $97,000 / annually; depending on experience
