We are seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer who is excited about contributing to projects that support the core operations of our clients' businesses. This role will be responsible for supporting telecommunications design teams through the development and management of BIM models and construction documentation.

The ideal candidate will bring strong Revit BIM modeling expertise and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams to produce coordinated models and construction drawings for complex facilities. This position offers the opportunity to grow your skills while working alongside engineers, architects, and design professionals to deliver coordinated, clash-free telecommunications systems designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Revit BIM models for telecommunications systems in coordination with other discipline BIM leads and design team members.

• Produce fully coordinated 3D models across multiple disciplines and generate 2D construction drawings for project documentation.

• Utilize Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to support BIM coordination and model development.

• Work closely with telecom discipline leads, designers, architects, and engineers to translate design intent into constructible design deliverables.

• Participate in model coordination and clash detection to ensure high-quality design outputs.

• Maintain modeling consistency in accordance with client BIM standards and project requirements.

• Incorporate markups and design direction into accurate model updates and construction documents.

• Assist in estimating modeling and design hours based on provided markups or project direction.

• Communicate effectively with internal team members to ensure alignment on project requirements and schedules.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 3+ years of Revit BIM design experience.

• 3+ years of experience in telecommunications systems design or construction.

• Familiarity with Navisworks for model coordination and review.

• Basic understanding of wiring and cabling connections between devices and equipment.

• Understanding of how codes and standards influence design decisions.

• Experience following client design and modeling standards.

• Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to estimate time required for modeling and design efforts.

• Demonstrated willingness to learn and expand technical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of Revit MEP design experience.

• Experience designing systems within advanced technology or semiconductor facilities.

• Knowledge of paging, intercom, and audio-visual systems.

• Experience with life safety and security systems, including fire alarm, access control, and CCTV.

• Understanding of control systems, network components, and network topology.
