Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for leading telecommunications operations? The Texas Department of Public Safety is seeking a dynamic individual to oversee our Network Services operations in Austin, TX. As a key player in our organization, you will:
- Lead and oversee Network Services operations, including WAN, LAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and network security platforms.
- Manage daily operational activities, ensuring incident management, problem resolution, and service availability.
- Serve as an escalation point for high-priority network and infrastructure issues.
- Coordinate and prioritize workloads across Network Services teams.
- Support ongoing and planned initiatives, such as SD-WAN implementation and network monitoring tools.
- Ensure compliance with agency security standards and participate in change management processes.
- Collaborate with various teams to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Maintain documentation of network architecture and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in supervisory/management roles, providing clear direction and promoting teamwork.
- Minimum of seven (7) years' experience with administration, maintenance, and design of Cisco VoIP solutions.
Preferences
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience managing a networking team in a highly complex environment.
- Experience with implementation and support of 24x7x365 network, voice, and video environments.
