DPP is seeking a Telecommunications Network Engineer for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.
 
Work location: Partial onsite (Tues., Wed., Thur. and as needed)
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8:30AM – 5:00PM. Some on-call and weekend work required.
Duration: 10 months
Terms: W2 contract (contract to hire)
 
Position summary:
  • Lead the design and development of Avaya Call center (IVR, digital, call routing, Vectors, VDNs).
  • Produce high-quality technical and functional documentation, including FRDs, workflow diagrams, and integration specifications.
  • Participate in and/or lead discovery and design workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and influence architectural decisions. 
Required technologies:
  • Avaya and CCaaS Call center platforms
  • JavaScript, Python, or Node.js
  • GitHub, ServiceNow, Azure
  • Knowledge of LAN, WAN, SD WAN, VPN, and cloud networking solutions 
Nice to have:
  • Genesys Certifications such as:
    • Genesys Cloud CX Developer (CCX GCD)
    • Genesys Cloud CX Architect (GCX ARC)
  • Lucid Charts or other workflow modeling tools. 
Minimum required work experience:
  • 8 years of related telecommunications/VoIP experience 
About the team:
  • The DLS Telecom team is a mix of 3 Telecom Engineers and 4 Telecom Analysts. The team works on call centers on Avaya Platform and supports the TFNs for call centers on Genesys Cloud system. 
Required education/equivalencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
  • OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
  • OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 6 years without a degree)
