We're hiring a Telecommunications Network Engineer to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday.
Work Authorization: U.S. citizens and Green Card holders only. Sponsorship is not available for this role; no C2C or third-party candidates. Candidates must be able to work on our W2.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 8 years of related telecommunications/VoIP experience
- 2-3 years of Avaya or Genesys experience
- Expertise with relevant telecommunications/VoIP software and hardware
- Experience with Avaya and CCaaS Call center platforms
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Node.js
- Familiarity with GitHub, ServiceNow, and Azure
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN, SD WAN, VPN, and cloud networking solutions
- Experience with Lucidcharts or other workflow modeling tools
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of Avaya Call Center (IVR, digital, call routing, vectors, VDNs)
- Produce high-quality technical and functional documentation, including FRDs, workflow diagrams, and integration specifications
- Participate in and/or lead discovery and design workshops with business and technical stakeholders
Education/Certifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree
- Genesys Certifications such as Genesys Cloud CX Developer (CCX GCD) or Genesys Cloud CX Architect (GCX ARC) preferred
