Our credentials, certifications, and clearance levels secure our clients' computer networks and information amid a premium on cyber security.PositionSystems Engineer – A role that analyzes user requirements, develops system requirements specifications, leads design and development activities, and provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze user requirements, concepts of operations documents, and high‑level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.Lead design and development activities, guiding users in formulating requirements and advising alternative approaches.Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical leadership for system integration and testing.Develop system architecture and system design, and prepare system engineering management plans, integration, and test plans.Interact with government personnel regarding engineering technical considerations and resolve associated problems, issues, or conflicts.Maintain technical integrity of all work performed and deliverables within the Systems Engineering area.Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.Required Skills and ExperienceSignal Conditioning—filtering, amplifying, and converting signals.Telephony Switching System—telephony network connection technologies and protocols.Communications Systems—wireless, satellite, and wired network infrastructures.TDM/PCM Multiplexing/Modulation/Switching Systems—combining and separating multiple signals.Packet Switching System—gridding transmitted data into packets routed by destination address.Advanced Protocols—sophisticated communication protocols above basic TCP/IP, such as MPLS, VoIP, and others.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related accredited discipline.Fourteen (14) years of Systems Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, or five (5) years of additional experience in lieu of the degree.Active TS/SCI FSP level clearance with the Maryland customer.BenefitsHighly competitive compensation.Comprehensive health benefits package and 401(k) retirement plan, plus a gym wellness benefit.Company‑sponsored continuing education program.Generous paid time off and 11 paid holidays per year; flexible work options.On‑site corporate facilities with collaborative office space and conference rooms.Synergy ECP was established in 2007 and its management team has over 30 years of Department of Defense and Intelligence Community experience.
