Telehealth Nurse
Hybrid Opportunity in the Cary, NC area
A growing healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Telehealth Nurse to support patients receiving specialty drug therapies.
This role is ideal for a compassionate and detail oriented Registered Nurse who thrives in a patient focused, collaborative environment.
Schedule
Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Occasional Saturdays as needed
What You Will Do
Provide counseling and education to new and existing patients on specialty drug therapies
Ensure adherence to contracted and accrediting regulations based on drug specific requirements
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation following industry standards and best practices
Educate patients on potential and current side effects to support treatment adherence
Identify and report adverse events and product complaints to appropriate regulatory bodies
Serve as a liaison between providers and patients to support ongoing therapy success
Follow patient management programs including call schedules, medication management, and provider collaboration
Maintain patient records, demographics, and medical history in compliance with HIPAA standards
Partner with pharmacy support teams to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery
What We Are Looking For
Registered Nurse with an active unrestricted compact state license or primary North Carolina license
Associate, Bachelor, or higher degree in Nursing or accredited nursing diploma
Ability to obtain licensure in all required states and US territories within 3 months of employment
4 plus years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in acute or inpatient care preferred
Oncology experience is a plus
Strong computer skills including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and web based systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in motivational interviewing preferred
Ability to interpret clinical standards, professional journals, and regulatory guidelines
Work Environment
Hybrid with a combination of onsite and remote responsibilities
