Title: Telematics Manual Tester
Work Mode: Day 1 Onsite
Employment Type: Contract
We are seeking an experienced Software QA Engineer with strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and executing test cases across web and mobile applications, identifying defects, performing root-cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional development teams.
Experience with mobile application testing (iOS/Android) is required. Exposure to telematics and in-vehicle testing is highly desirable.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, compatibility, accessibility, and performance testing.
Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
Work closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
Perform root-cause analysis and provide clear documentation of testing results.
Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements.
Participate in testing activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Maintain accurate test documentation, defect reports, and testing status updates.
Strong understanding of SDLC and software testing methodologies.
Experience with Black-Box, White-Box, Regression, and Integration Testing.
Strong knowledge of test case design techniques.
Hands-on experience with Mobile Application Testing iOS and Android.
Experience with multiple testing types, including:
Functional Testing
Regression Testing
Integration Testing
Usability Testing
Performance Testing
Compatibility Testing
Accessibility Testing
Experience with defect tracking/test management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, Quality Center, or similar tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of defects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to clearly document test results, defects, and findings.
Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams.
Experience or knowledge of Telematics systems.
Exposure to In-Vehicle Testing / Automotive Testing.
Previous experience testing connected vehicle or automotive applications is an advantage.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented QA professional with strong hands-on mobile testing experience who can independently manage testing activities while effectively collaborating with development and business teams in an onsite environment.
