Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Technician to provide continuous ECG monitoring, accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias, and respond promptly to critical rhythm changes in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
Identify and immediately report life-threatening dysrhythmias.
Perform EKGs with proper electrode placement.
Respond to monitor alarms and troubleshoot telemetry equipment.
Document rhythm changes and maintain accurate patient records.
Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and the healthcare team.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Telemetry Technician experience in a hospital setting required.
High School Diploma or GED.
Telemetry Technician Certification.
BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross.
Dysrhythmia Course required.
Strong ECG rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills.
