Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• BSN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System.

Additional Details:
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Cardiac drip experience, NIH stroke assessment experience, post-cath recovery, and chest tube experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: TR band and Fem-Stop experience preferred.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. If previously employed at the facility, exceptions require approval by St. Luke’s Health System.
Unit Details: Uses Epic charting. Common patient population includes CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, CAD, renal failure, respiratory failure, pneumothorax, and post-cath lab patients. RNs do not titrate drips; commonly see set-rate diltiazem and amiodarone. No epi or nitro on this floor. RNs read and interpret telemetry and document every 6 hours. Uses SpaceLab monitors and is transitioning to Philips. Charge nurse and house supervisor are present and do not take patients. Nurse aide support is 1:8/9. CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow are used; RT manages them.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends as needed. Holidays as needed. No call.
Floating Requirements: First to float. Will float to like units and Med/Surg at times. May also float to Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center to like units and Med/Surg if needed. May also float to ICU if experienced.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
