Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is preferred.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >80 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Telemetry interpretation is required. Float experience does not count toward the unit experience requirement.

Preferred Skills/Experience: ED Holding Unit experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients. Common medications include IVF, metoprolol, hydralazine, atorvastatin, enoxaparin, heparin, Lasix, insulin, potassium chloride, and oxycodone. Common equipment includes an Alaris IV pump, bladder scanner, and glucometer.

Shift & Scheduling: Start and end shift times: 6:45/1845-0722/1922.

Floating Requirements: Float to the same level of care.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
