Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• BSN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether the facility was a teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. If previously employed at the facility, exceptions require approval by St. Luke’s Health System.
Required Skills/Experience: Cardiac drip experience, NIH stroke assessment experience, post-cath recovery, and chest tube experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with TR bands and Fem stops preferred.
Unit Details: Common diagnoses and patient population include CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, CAD, renal failure, respiratory failure, pneumothorax, and post-cath lab patients. Nurses will not pull sheaths. Common set-rate drips include diltiazem and amiodarone; no epi or nitro on this floor. RNs read and interpret telemetry rhythms. Uses Epic and SpaceLab monitors and is transitioning to Philips. CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow are used on the unit; RT manages them. Charge nurse and house supervisor are available and do not take patients. Nurse aides available with 1:8/9 ratios.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends as needed; travelers fill unit needs. Holiday requirements: travelers fill unit needs. No call or standby requirement.
Floating Requirements: First to float. Will float to like units and Med/Surg at times. May also float to Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center to like units and Med/Surg if needed. May also float to ICU if experienced.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
