Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Eligibility as current/previous employee: The facility may make one-off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System. Shifts can be blocked or grouped together.
Unit Details: Telemetry patients include heart failure, COPD, sepsis, AFib, pneumonia, stroke, detox, and suicidal holds. Uses Epic and SpaceLabs. Set-rate drips include diltiazem, heparin, amiodarone, and lidocaine. Equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow; patients on BiPAP for more than 4 hours transfer to the ICU. Unit uses a team nursing model with tele techs; RNs are required to sign off their strips. Charge nurse does not take patients; there is an admin supervisor on site 24/7. CNA support is typically 1:8, with 3 CNAs when the unit is full. If full, the unit may staff 7 RNs on the floor, including 2 lead RNs with 1-2 patients who assist with med passes and cares; travelers may work as lead if experienced.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirements: as needed; try to schedule every other weekend, but travelers may need to fill gaps. Holiday requirements: if there is a need. No call.
Floating Requirements: Will float to MedSurg at Nampa. May also float to Tele at Meridian or Boise.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
