PSLS focuses its services on legal issues that affect our clients' ability to meet basic human needs, including adequate housing, public benefits, education, physical safety, access to healthcare, and related needs. Our Telephone Counseling Service is staffed by 20+ attorneys and Intake Specialists who qualify applicants for service and provide legal advice by phone. The Telephone Counseling Service is the entry point for the majority of over 20,000 applications for legal help and over 15,000 clients annually.
Intake Specialists at PSLS interview applicants for service, assess legal issues, input case information into our case database system, and refer clients to Telephone Counseling attorneys. The Telephone Counseling Intake Specialist role is remote.

The Intake Specialist position is full-time at 37.5 hours per week. PSLS offers a competitive salary compared to similar organizations. The salary range of this position is $38,000 to $48,983 annually. The starting salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on prior relevant experience.
