Snow Storm Dispatcher – Seasonal / Work From Home

We’re hiring a dependable dispatcher to handle customer communications and help coordinate snow removal service during storms.

You’ll work from home using a company-provided cell phone and your own computer with internet access. You’ll log into our website to create dispatch requests, take customer orders, and communicate with the owner and equipment operators.

Responsibilities

• Answer the company phone from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on assigned storm days.
• Return missed calls and follow up with customers.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer emails and text messages.
• Assist customers with service questions, new orders, and snow removal requests.
• Accurately enter customer information, orders, and dispatch requests into our website.
• Communicate with the owner and operators about customer requests, service issues, route progress, and needed follow-up.
• Track open requests and follow up with customers or operators as needed.
• Remain calm and helpful when customers are frustrated or call volume is high.
• Follow company instructions when discussing service timing, pricing, and availability.
• Keep accurate notes and protect customer information.

Requirements

• Dependable availability from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during storms, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to work consecutive days when storms or related service needs extend over multiple days.
• A reliable computer and stable internet connection.
• A quiet workspace where you can answer calls professionally.
• Comfort using websites, entering information, and managing calls, emails, and text messages.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple customer requests.
• Ability to work independently and stay responsive throughout assigned hours.

Customer service or dispatch experience is preferred.

Schedule & Pay

This is a seasonal, weather-dependent position. Work is scheduled during snowstorms and related service periods rather than on a regular daily schedule. Some storms require coverage over multiple consecutive days.

Hours: 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. on assigned storm days.
Location: Work from home.
Equipment: Company cell phone provided; your own computer and internet connection required.
Hourly pay: $15-18 per hr, depending on experience.
