Job Summary:

Receives, screens and disperses incoming calls, places outgoing calls, and responds to emergencies, alarms and traumas. Provides answering services. Makes overhead announcements and coordinate with security dispatch. Facilitates telephone operator daily activities.

Job Duties:

• Performs all duties of a Telephone Operator.
• Assists in the instruction and training of new employees.
• Provides input to performance evaluations, as assigned.
• Provides input regarding individual training needs and assessment and suggests additional training and education when necessary.
• Keeps leadership informed of all problems, unusual situations, and reactions.
• Assists Operator staff as required to expedite work flow.
• Assists with the preparation of the monthly operators work schedule.
• Assists in maintaining all switchboard operations data bases as needed.
