This department assists external and internal customers by directing phone calls to the appropriate departments and services. The Telecommunications team also assists with the coordination of emergency responses following established protocols to assure hospital security regulations. As the Telephone Operator you will help to ensure the maintenance of efficient and helpful communications service to the employees and clients of Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children. You will be responsible for operating the switchboard to provide routine information and directing incoming calls to appropriate areas as well as responding to emergencies according to established protocols.
