Summary

Conduct Stargaze sessions for introductory astronomy classes.

Essential Functions

• Conduct stargaze sessions in BGSU Observatory
• Set up and take down telescopes
• Administer student observing projects

Minimum Qualifications

• Grade of A in Astronomy 2010 or 2120, or equivalent knowledge
• Strong interest in astronomy
• Must be able to lift & carry telescopes

Additional Information

• All work is evenings and weekends.
• Once they begin and pass the Telescope Operator portion, they can be hired for the Planetarium Operator position.
