As a Teller I, you''ll process everyday banking transactions, assist customers with their financial needs, and gain valuable experience in retail banking while working in a supportive team environment.

What You''ll Do

  • Provide friendly, professional service to every customer.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and other routine banking transactions accurately.
  • Balance your cash drawer and complete daily settlement procedures.
  • Assist customers with basic online banking questions, including password resets and account navigation.
  • Answer incoming calls professionally and direct customers to the appropriate department when needed.
  • Identify potential fraud or unusual account activity and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Assist with ATM balancing issues and night depository processing.
  • Recommend bank products and services that meet customers'' financial needs.
  • Participate in branch opening and closing procedures while maintaining security standards.
  • Follow all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

What We''re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Six months of teller experience or one year of customer service and cash handling experience.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Physical Requirements
