Teller / Member Service Representative (Floater) - Teller Experience Required!

We are currently seeking an experienced Teller/Member Service Representative (Floater). This position will be based at one of the credit union’s three branches - Wilmington, Long Beach, or San Pedro but will require the flexibility to float between branches as needed to support business operations.

Type: Full-time, temporary

Pay: up to $21/hr

Branch hours: Monday – Friday: 8:55am - 5:25pm

Responsibilities:

• Accurately perform teller transactions in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures, and in compliance with regulatory requirements and security procedures.
• Receive checks and cash for deposit to savings & checking accounts, verify deposit amounts, and examine checks for endorsement, negotiability, and check-hold requirements.
• Process withdrawals, transfers, credit card cash and line of credit advances, and loan payments.
• Place stop payments, process gift cards, and complete required forms.
• Process and review disputes for ACH/Share Draft/Cards.
• Maintain cash drawer within prescribed cash limits and meet cash balancing requirements; dual-control for TCD and vault.
• Provide friendly, fast and accurate service to members.
• Explain various Credit Union products and services to members.
• Perform specific and delegated duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 1 year of teller experience within a credit union or bank
• Must be able to pass background, credit history and bondability checks
• Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate communication and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of customer requests including difficult customer situations
• Possess an enthusiastic and professional attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
