Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Member Solutions Advocate (Teller) at MAPLE Federal Credit Union. As a Teller, you will be the face of our institution, responsible for providing exceptional service to our members while efficiently and accurately processing financial transactions. This role plays a crucial part in building strong member relationships and ensuring the smooth operation of our branch.
Responsibilities

- Greet and assist members with their financial needs, including deposits, withdrawals, account inquiries, and loan payments.
- Accurately handle cash and electronic transactions, ensuring compliance with security and confidentiality procedures.
- Stay informed about our products and services to effectively educate and cross-sell to members based on their financial needs.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the end of each day.
- Adhere to all regulatory and credit union policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and member interactions.
- Assist members with account discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient branch operations and achieve branch goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in banking regulations to provide the best possible service to members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service experience in a financial institution is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle cash and operate standard office equipment.
- Familiarity with banking software and technology.
- Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards.
