GENERAL SUMMARY The Bank Teller is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing a variety of financial transactions. As the first point of contact for many customers, the Bank Teller plays a key role in building relationships, promoting bank products and services, and supporting the community-focused mission of the bank. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Process routine banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Verify customer identities and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding accounts, products, services, and bank policies.
- Identify customer needs and refer appropriate banking products and services to meet those needs.
- Resolve customer concerns or direct them to the appropriate department for assistance.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of customer information.
- Participate in branch operations and support team goals.
- Required to participate in trainings and comply with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as Federal and State banking laws and regulations.
