Teller Supervisor
As our Teller Supervisor, you will:
- Function when needed as a teller. Distribute flow of daily work to tellers including scheduling of lunch and breaks.
- Ensure teller line is sufficiently staffed to handle members' needs. Schedule vacations with the approval of the Branch Manager.
- Assist in training and reviewing the performance of all teller personnel.
- Be responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of cash, as well as the safety of vault contents. Order, verify and maintain records for currency received from banks. Disburse teller cash.
- Investigate teller out of balance conditions and institutes corrective procedures.
- Be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the inventory of supplies and equipment for the teller area.
- Perform monthly surprise cash counts on teller cash drawers.
- Process and approve wire transfers.
- Be responsible for ensuring nightly deposits and associated reports are scanned. Investigate differences in Cash Letter deposits.
- Receive and verify money orders and other products or services offered by the credit union. Perform audits of these products and services.
- Actively and enthusiastically cross-sell credit union services. Participate in cross-training and trains others.
- Be able to develop sound solutions to problems and makes on-the-spot decisions with speed and consistency of output.
- Supervision responsibility may require overtime to ensure the teller line is fully staffed.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate
- Three year experience as a teller at a full service financial institution with customer service
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good knowledge of Internal Control Guidelines
- Proficient in math, computer applications associated with the position, and cash handling procedures
- Strong positive interpersonal skills
- Able to successfully cross-sell credit union products and services
- Supervision experience preferred
- One year credit union experience preferred
- Working knowledge of regulations governing financial institutions as they pertain to performing job duties effectively preferred

Hours:
M-F 8:45am-6:15pm
Saturday 8:45am-1:15pm
Usually works 40 hours a week which includes a day off during the week.
