Routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods. Documents test results. May perform simple repairs and/or component removal or replacement. May maintain logs and records indicating malfunctions
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform Sub assembly and system level functional test using MPI, WI, Test Procedures, e-Traveler & other supplied documentation as required.
Be able to differentiate between real and false rejects, address and correct false rejects when related to setup or operation.
Preferred at least 4 years experience with Telecommunications, Networking, Switchers appliances as Test Operator.
Education and Experience:
2-4 years experience with 5DX required, experience with ICT preferred.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand verbal instructions in English.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Must have the ability to test assemblies to verbal or written instructions, or by following Test Process Instruction.
Must have basic understanding of Electronic Networking Appliances.
Must be available for OT and weekend work as required in addition to minimum 40 hr./wk
