IT Service Desk Agent
Location: South Jordan, UT
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $24/hr (W2)
Overview:
Seeking an IT Service Desk Agent to provide first-level technical support via phone and chat in a 24x7 environment. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, resolving IT issues, and maintaining accurate ticket documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide front-line IT support for software, hardware, and systems
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues or escalate as needed
- Document incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps in ticketing systems
- Manage multiple requests while ensuring high first-contact resolution
- Communicate effectively with users and maintain a customer-first approach
- Collaborate with team members and support continuous process improvements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2–5 years of IT support/customer service experience (phone/chat)
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Basic knowledge of Windows systems and IT tools
