TEMP - Assistant

Summary

The City of Garland Special Events department is looking for helpers to set up and break down special events.

Work Schedule: Timing varies based on event.

Pay Range: (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Moving 10 x 10 tents for special events.

• Setting up tables and chairs for events.

• Moving signage and temporary fencing.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

• Ability to stand for long hours.

• Physically demanding role.
