Temp: Summer Camp Coach

This position is designed for potential temporary employees who have been recruited to work in a summer sports camp. Please DO NOT apply for this position unless a member of the athletics program has prescreened and invited you to apply.

JOB SUMMARY

Primary function is to coach during camp through leading sessions and implementing camp plans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitates/coaches campers.
• Leads drills / sessions.
• Implements the camp plan.
• Performs other related duties as assigned within the same classification or lower.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate required.

Experience

• Athletic experience as an athlete and or coach required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

• Ability to teach sport-specific skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with staff, students, and parents.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with diverse populations.
• Demonstrated proficiency with business technology applications (e.g. Video/Web Conferencing, Microsoft Office Suite -Word, Excel, Outlook, and/or PowerPoint preferred).
